This is great news for those who have wanted to meet Riesel in person.
Riesel participated in the Hanbok exhibition at the Hongjae Library in Suwon Gwanggyo. ^0^

Shall we enjoy the Hanbok exhibition at the Gwanggyo Hongjae Exhibition Hall together?

Hongjae Library is a very special library located in Suwon Gwanggyo.
It is a library that was newly opened in December 2014, and the theme of Hongjae Library is "Design Library".

​The first exhibition after the opening was a printing-related exhibition, and
a Hanbok exhibition is being held from April 21st to June 21st, for two months, in the exhibition space of Hongjae Library.

The Hanbok exhibition is themed "Clothing the Color of the White People".
The planner who saw Riesel on Facebook and at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul,
contacted me because it had been stuck in his memory.

The Hanbok exhibition featured panels that explained the history of Hanbok and Hanbok on display.

Riesel was originally scheduled to be included in the explanation of modern daily Hanbok as an educational panel.
The story developed further, and we decided to exhibit actual Riesel products.

Here is the Riesel exhibition space at the Gwanggyo Hongjae Library!

Riesel is a brand that is inspired by Hanbok, so it was an exhibition that could represent what modern Hanbok, future Hanbok, and globalized Hanbok are.
The exhibition introduced Riesel's representative products through panels, and kindly explained the design elements of Riesel, which are inspired by Hanbok.

It would be a shame to only have panels, right? We also exhibited Riesel's representative products that are inspired by Hanbok.

​The exhibited products are sleeveless cheorik dress and four-season shirt jacket white, unbalanced dress white with daily check jacket, Maru trousers black with Dopo long code medium blue.

Many people contacted Riesel after seeing the Hanbok exhibition.
Some people said that they didn't know that this kind of daily Hanbok existed, and that it was very pretty.
The person who left the most memorable impression on me was a middle-aged woman. She had been wearing daily Hanbok because she loved it, but
she was disappointed because it wasn't pretty. She said that she was satisfied with Riesel, so
I was so happy and proud! I can't describe the feeling!

I hope that many children and citizens in Suwon and nearby cities will meet Riesel through the Hongjae Library's Hanbok exhibition,

get a lot of inspiration, and have a chance to think about Hanbok. :-)
