✅𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝐒/𝐒 Daegoryeo Collection 'Goryeo Celadon' A modern Hanbok collection using the 'Goryeo celadon' color, reminiscent of the bright spirit of our people. Like Goryeo, which was at the center of international trade at the time and created the original "Korean Wave," we aim to showcase the beauty of our traditional culture to the world and continue our challenge until Hanbok becomes a fashion genre.

📌Story of Goryeo Celadon In English, 'China' refers to the country China, but it is also a term for pottery. This shows how pottery-making skills have been known to be the best in China, to the extent that "China = pottery" is synonymous to many people around the world. However, there was a place that possessed the highest level of pottery skills, even surpassing China! That place was our 'Goryeo'. Seo Gyeong, who came to Goryeo as an envoy, highly praised the celadon color and precision of Goryeo celadon in "Goryeodogyeong," and Taeping Laoin, a scholar of the Song Dynasty, stated in "Yujunggeum" that "(Although China also has celadon,) the celadon color of Goryeo celadon is the best of the best in the world." This shows how highly they admired its beauty.

It is said that even the best craftsmen in China failed to replicate the mysterious celadon color of Goryeo celadon, no matter how hard they tried. However, due to its immense popularity, it was constantly being looted and plundered, sadly scattering it around the world. Even in ancient times, we were a trendsetting nation excelling in cultural arts and crafts; protecting our traditional heritage means remembering our roots.🙆‍♀️
